Upon receiving a request for a baby block estimate a few weeks ago, I realized that this would be our largest block order to date. My customer was in need of blocks for a baby shower, more specifically, to serve as 10 centerpieces. After some thinking, I responded with a quote and an idea to have the blocks spell out a unique, three letter word for each table. Luckily, my customer loved the idea, but I was presented with a few challenges. Both sides of each three letter set needed to spell out the same word. I also had to be sure to include every letter in the alphabet (since mom-to-be has not announced the name), so I made sure to select words with different letters. This provides mom with more than enough opportunity to spell out her little girl’s first, and maybe even her last name.
These babies (no pun) are off to Cali tomorrow. Such a cute centerpiece idea! The last time we received a similar request was for a bride-to-be. She ordered blocks for her 8 ring bearers to carry down the isle. So creative!
