Inspiration: The Sailor

Working in the creative field, I experience various emotions ranging from complete satisfaction to pure rage. There's absolutely nothing like it. When it comes to branding you simply must have a system in place or else your head will explode from the endless possibilities. An inspiration board is the most effective way for a designer to begin the visual process. Think of it as a way to filter creative chaos into a well organized concept. Your job is to give your client a bird's eye view of your vision. Most importantly, an inspiration board will keep your design fresh and unique to a client's needs. If your work starts to take on a consistent style then you have failed as a designer. Better hang up your mouse and go home. It was only natural to construct an inspiration board for my Lucas' first birthday. I mean what mom doesn't do that?
